| China is a vast and extraordinary
country. This site chronicles and comments on my journeys, experiences
and studies in China between August 2000 and June 2001, my first visit
to a country which has become part of my everyday life, whether I am living
there or not. During this journey I had the opportunity to visit many cities
in Eastern China, predominantly in the Northeastern area still sometimes
known to foreigners as Manchuria and the South-Central provinces.
